In a heart-pounding series finale, The Messengers face off against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, whose plan to break the fifth seal could destroy everything our heroes hold dear. It's up to The Messengers to stop the Horsemen once and for all... at any cost. Diogo Morgado, Shantel VanSanten, Craig Frank, JD Pardo, Sofia Black D'Elia, Anna Diop, Jon Fletcher and Joel Courtney star.
Overall the series went on the edge of okay level .. the finale was so expected ,, yeah it was full of thrill and concluded the whole good vs bad fight ,,. but as we saw good wins and with a little tick in the final scene they make you think that there would be a "to be continued" series , but it got cancelled by CW as i expected from the first episode ..
Honestly,, every Friday i watched every episode of it just hoping that things will rise up to my expected "seen in the trailer" level but it didn't .. the story itself kinda felt overdone and they used kinda a lot of cinematographic scenes on an already burned out plot.
To be fair, there were some episode where there is a huge element of unpredictability (the last three episodes) but still i don't think it was enough to pick up the series from the grave of cancellation.
The finale deserves a 6 which is a mega boost by me considering the series in a whole deserves a 4 in best cases.
