Quotes

[first lines]
Maya Lewis: Thank you, baby. Thank you for getting me out of there.
Jake Ballard: Maya, where's Rowan? When is the last time you saw him?
Maya Lewis: [to Olivia] Did they show it to you the place where your father kept me? Did you see it?
President Fitzgerald Grant: If you're not willing to cooperate, if you don't tell us everything you know...
Maya Lewis: What are you gonna do to me? Not a damn thing. My daughter is here now. Olivia Pope is here. Now. You so much as lay a finger on me, and we will Sue your ass. Tell 'em, Livvie. Handle them.

Delicious Plot Twists
25 November 2014 | by RyanCShowersSee all my reviews

"Scandal" made itself a priority with such an urgency in its storytelling and such delicious plot twists. Throughout the fourth season and especially noticeable in "Where the Sun Don't Shine", "Scandal" has acquired a new sophistication and class that has improved the overall quality of the series. Though I think "Baby Made a Mess" was her best acted episode of the fourth season, Kerry Washington's emotionally diverse performance helps breathe extra spirit into the vibrant, exciting mid-season finale. In addition to performing each of the episode's story lines well, "Where the Sun Don't Shine" smashes its audience with Olivia's divisive romantic partners as she contemplates which man is right for her. The final twist , though, is something that shocked me; danger did not cross even seem like a possibility as Jake and Olivia danced let alone something that happened while Jake was only feet away. "Scandal" has their hooks into my soap opera desired genes good and tight for the rest of season four in 2015.
