Storyline

Renee is a young reporter who gets caught in the middle of one of the biggest heists the city of Los Angeles has seen in decades. One morning she is asked by her co-worker, Bridgette (a producer), to join her for an emergency meeting. Although Renee hesitates to go to the meeting she does because she trusts Bridgette. Her first mistake. It is during this meeting that she finds out hackers are planning to cause a massive blackout in LA. Bridgette's friend, Evan, joins them during their meeting and is on the run from his hacker friends. His goal is to stop the blackout from happening. This short film is inspired by events that occurred in Northern California in 2013.
