Miss O'Keefe confronts Lizzie in her home, ending in a physical conflict, surprising arrest and a "shocking" ending.

Trivia
It is possible, but not probable, that Maplecroft's neighbor Mrs. Kenney would have had electricity when this story takes place, around 1894. Nearby Boston had some access to electricity by 1881 and in the early '90s grids were expanding to smaller towns, but even if Fall River was one of them Mrs. Kenney would have been well ahead of the curve.
