Leaving Harlan alive just became that much harder
7 July 2017 | by Mr-FusionSee all my reviews

One of the best episodes in recent memory (with skilled direction by Peter Weller), 'Noblesse Oblige' is Harlan's major criminal players steadily moving on each other and into place. Massively entertaining puzzle pieces. Sam Elliott's an easy fit as a smooth-talking hood, and surprisingly terrifying sans mustache. And Joelle Carter see her share of the spotlight as Ava is increasingly set between a rock and a Marshal.

It's suitably dramatic, given all the weight that's ready o come down on some of these characters but also seems to double down on the appealing Western dialogue, which makes it a lot of fun.
