Storyline

Sick of it All, a black and white noir style comedy which speaks to the child in all of us. The dark comedy is at once a memorable adult fable about one's lost youth, while in essence paying respect to the wisdom contained within the mind of a child. sometimes when you don't know where to go, you go where others tell you to because knowing something is much better than staying in nothing....
4 January 2017 | by IamthemovieaddictSee all my reviews

once i heard a very famous and heart-working writer and director named Steven Spielberg saying

"People have forgotten how to tell a story. Stories don't have a middle or an end any more. They usually have a beginning that never stops beginning."

which rotates constantly in my head of what and how this film was coming out.

some stories are plotted while some work while walking down the lane but this one was fulfilling both wishes where it has fallen down miserably and making me ask what went wrong?

let's begin with the first mistake the film committed.

1) those who go by the rulebook and first know the summary, synopsis or storyline before going for the film should know that as you will think this film to be as per the line, it will be not. chances are you will abandon and throw the film within few minutes. The advertising of this film is not upto the mark as it neither works vice-versa ways of what the film is telling about.

2) the second mistake, as you watch the flick you'll notice the noir feel and a sense of black comedy where the male lead is living a dog's life personally or professionally but as the film progresses you'll notice the arrival and mis-usage of F@$k word million times as if we say it to everything or everyone that passes us and makes us see the dialogues of the film as cheap, uninventive, unenticing and repetitive. most don't resonate with what the film told us will be instead we are seeing it as a Coen-Tarantino-Burton-lynch film garbled up.

3) third and last, since film is pretty bad at many routes, you will still find something of pleasure and likability that will make you wonder if this is good and loving what happened to the rest till the end.

before i end, if the director-writer-editor of this film named Brian McGuire gets chance to read this, then i want him to know one thing that before i say will be said by Charles Bukowski,

"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead."

if you are making something that you don't know will the target or not then it's better to go and learn from those who learnt it before you'll commit on. he should learn why a film is capturing and why it isn't when it seems so. hope after reading this, he'll get my point across and when he'll come with his nest venture, i'll be a proud man.
