Goofs

In one scene, Veronica Cartwright's character speaks French, saying "J'adore noël, j'adore les vacances". This translates into "I love Christmas, I love vacations". The correct French expression for "holidays" as in "Christmas" would have been "les fêtes". The character, Mrs. Saxon, was a French teacher but perhaps not a good one. (She speaks French with a very American accent.) She might have made an error due to confusion in her old age or because she was never fluent. See more »

Further Adventures of Raynard the Fox
29 October 2016 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

So much in this episode. Julia and Harry are estranged because he won't back up her story to IAD. He is crossing the thin blue line. Of course, he knows how dangerous it would be to his own career if he lies for her. Julia is called into the Captain's office and he proposes a plan for her to keep her job. She must file charges against Harry for sexual misconduct with a subordinate (not true in any way). Meanwhile, we see Raynard and his mother continue to interact. He is growing tired of her continual needs. Harry's former profiler ex-wife hits the spot in sizing up Raynard/David. Meanwhile, the guy who was arrested after trying to escape from Harry and Julia, is released but manages to ID the kids with whom he used to hang around. The episode ends with a horrible event.
