    • Trivia
The title refers to a line in the episode spoken by Frankie, when she explains to the kids why she doesn't have the Christmas spirit, saying she has "hit the Christmas wall".
    • Goofs
Axl and Sean argue about whether King Moonracer from the Rankin/Bass Rudolph special is a toy or not. They agree to abide by whatever Darrin decides after watching the cartoon. Darrin concludes King Moonracer is a toy and, therefore, Sean is right.. But all sources related to the production indicate that King Moonracer is a mythical being who simply gave shelter to the Misfit Toys, which means Sean and Darrin are wrong.
    • Quotes

Frankie Heck: Come on, let's just check out our choices. We have trees with lights already on. Trees that look like they're covered in snow. And, you know, it's good for the environment 'cause they're made out of plastic.

Sue Heck: I like the pink one.

Mike Heck: This is the tree we're gonna have until we die. It's not going to be pink.

Brick Heck: Fake trees are weird. They don't smell like Christmas.

Axl Heck: If being weird was a reason not to take things home, we would have left you at the hospital.

      Brick Heck: You did.
