Storyline

A copy-cat-killer who goes by the name The Trickster starts setting off bombs in Central City. In order to stop the villain, Barry and Joe meet with the original Trickster, a criminal mastermind named James Jesse, who has been imprisoned for twenty years. Things quickly go from bad to worse when the Tricksters unite and take Henry Allen prisoner. Meanwhile, Iris asks Eddie to investigate a missing person, and flashbacks show how Harrison Wells came up with the name for S.T.A.R. Labs.

Goofs

About halfway through the episode, Dr. Harrison Wells is involved in a car wreck causing the car to be upside down. You can clearly see the car's drivetrain and exhaust intact. Towards the end of the episode they show the car again but without the drivetrain or exhaust, and the bottom of the car is different. It appears that they are using a completely different make and model car. See more »

Quotes

Barry Allen: Dad, listen. I'm close. The man who put you in here, I'm getting close. Closer than I've ever been.
Henry Allen: Barry. We have talked about this.
Barry Allen: I know. And I'm done talking. You're not gonna pay for another man's crime anymore. Just... hang in there, okay?

I was wondering why the guy who plays the older trickster was so good.

It's Mark Hamill a.k.a. the voice of the joker and Luke Skywalker. The actors on this show are usually not very good so I was surprised when the OG trickster was revealed. I nearly lost it when he said "I am your father" this was my favorite episode so far. The only thing I didn't like was when he mentions breaking bad season 5. How was he able to see it if hes been isolated in a cell for years? Aside from that and the cringe worthy performance of the younger trickster this is a perfect episode.
