Storyline

Mark Mardon, brother of Clyde Mardon, kills the city's coroner with one goal in mind: to get the name of Joe West, the man who killed his brother. Receiving word and breaking his impromptu double-date with Linda, Iris and Eddie (where Iris and Barry's close behavior equally disturbs their dates), Barry freakishly sees himself running beside him en route to the crime scene at superspeed. Joe, knowing the impossibility of protection against meta-humans, works the case but is captured and used to lure Iris to the beach. Meanwhile, as Police Captain Singh winds up hospitalize in trying to protect Joe, Cisco pays dearly for pursuing his suspicions against Harrison. Back at the beach, Iris finally learns the identity of The Flash as Barry tries to thwart Mark's tsunami, hurtling toward the city, and winds up meeting himself en route to the coroner's office instead.

Trivia

Cisco remarks he has been waiting since week #1 to use the name Weather Wizard, an obvious reference to the first episode of the series in which Clyde Mardon has weather controlling abilities, and his brother Mark (the original Weather Wizard) is presumed dead. See more »

Goofs

Quotes

Dr. Harrison Wells: Well, he's taking being targeted by a revenge-seeking meta-human rather well, I must say.

One of the greatest episodes of Television I have ever seen!
19 March 2015 | by TDKBestFilmEeverSee all my reviews

In just one episode The Flash has delivered so much action, drama, suspense, twists and shocks that shows such as The Walking Dead & Game of Thrones would be proud of. I thought it was the series finale at one point with just how much happens in one short episode.

This show is no TWD or GoT but I'm still a big fan of the programme. It has though, been fairly hit and miss. It took a bit of time to get going and the scripts have been silly too often but its always been fun, enjoyable and often funny with a tone of brilliant action set- pieces and effects.

This second half of Season 1 has really got things going and every episode has been entertaining and thrilling but never did I expect an episode like this.

I'm not going to spoil anything but the entire episode is genius and people that have doubted or hated on the show will be shocked at just how wrong they are and be blown away by the brilliance that The Flash has become.
