Trivia

Michael Peña ad-libbed much of Grubber's dialogue, with Meghan McCarthy saying, "You get Michael Peña in a recording booth, and you just are like, 'Please just go and say funny things.' He will be there for hours, just giving you all kinds of really great material that was not something that we had originally scripted!" See more »

Goofs

When the Mane Six fall from the broken bridge into the water below, Pinkie and Twilight fall down backwards in a horizontal position, Rarity on her sides in a horizontal position, Rainbow is spinning in a horizontal position, Fluttershy is slightly spinning in a horizontal position, and Applejack forward in a horizontal position, but in the next scene, Pinkie and Twilight are now upside down in a vertical position, Rarity is right side up in a horizontal position, Applejack and Rainbow Dash are upside down in a horizontal position, and Fluttershy's horizontal position is reversed 180°, and considering Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were the only ones moving, there is no way the other ponies would have moved that quickly, Pinkie would have had to rotate 90° and Twilight 180°. User Reviews

A good movie for a good franchise
5 October 2017 | by allan-14931See all my reviews

This is by no means a masterpiece, but it is an excellent animated movies that both the target audience of little girls, their parents and bronies will enjoy. It has a few flaws in how it drags the protagonists around by their plot-noses, and inconsistencies compared the development of the characters in the show. It seems to be roughly late season 4 with several characters regressing a bit compare to their character development in the latest seasons.
