SVU and Chicago PD officer Erin Lindsay try to track down Lindsay's half-brother, who may be able to help take down a child pornography ring.
Although this is a cross over episode with Chicago Fire and Chicago PD it also is strong enough on the story line to stand on its own. The SVU squad from New York gets a visit from Chicago police Erin Lindsay and Jason Beghe. There's a runaway kid they have reason to believe is in New York and young Christian Goodwin is now the latest victim of a sex trafficking ring.
For Lindsay this is especially poignant because her brother ran away from home in Chicago and also was a victim of this ring as a juvenile. Now grown up and played by Lou Taylor Pucci he may or may not have information relevant to the case. It takes a lot of effort to open him up.
Things work out well for the New York SVU end, but the Chicago cops still have a lot of work cut out for them.
