Quotes

Jennifer Goines: Look. Look before you. Listen! Listen! Listen. The thunder of fallen men! Great men, our fathers, forfeiting their world, their legacy; but not for their sons, for their wives, for their mothers. For their daughters! And when disappearing men die on their sword, we daughters shall make from twelve what men could not. Yes! An army!
Jennifer Goines: [to a girl] You. You see it. Twelve's not a primary. No, but 13. You're a bright little monkey.

Another Solid Episode!
23 April 2015 | by g-bodylSee all my reviews

This is the ninth episode of the first season of 12 Monkeys. I thought it was a very good episode. The story still jumps around, but this is an origin episode of sort where we get to see how all of this began, including the mission Cole is on. There is plenty of action to be had and on the whole, makes for an interesting episode.

In this episode, "Tomorrow," Cole is accidentally sent to 2017 where he is trapped during the height of the plague, but he nonetheless tries to make communication with Railly. We get to see in 2041 where Cole and Ramses runs into Jones for the first time. Finally, in 2043, Ramses escorts Elena to safety when Jones infiltrates Spearhead in order to take the Core by force.

Overall, this was a very good, action-packed episode. There was hardly a boring moment, and were a few dramatic moments as well. We are nearing the end, and I am thinking we could be seeing some plot shifts soon enough.

My Grade: A
