After escorting Monroe and Rosalee to their tropical honeymoon departure, Nick's team takes the case of a ghost-buster murdered in a 'haunted house', apparently by some sort of electric ghost, which Wu nevertheless identifies potentially as a Wesen species. Renard refers Hexenbiest-phases-struck Juliette, who didn't inform Nick, to a spooky feral specializing in 'mystical' therapy for such strange cases. Written by KGF Vissers

"What kind of police are you..?" (dialog)
20 February 2015 | by A_Different_DrummerSee all my reviews

Highly critical reviews are usually not received well by die-hard fans but it still seems to this writer the fourth season is the weakest so far.

So many interesting arcs available -- the serial killer who goes after cops is still loose; Trubel was more fun than a barrel of hammers and yet she's gone; I miss Nick's mom; the castle dungeon with the moving walls and secret passages was great fun --- and yet the writers keep tormenting Julia...? As I said in a prior review, and I have watched every episode, it seems the writers received ratings numbers that showed a high skew to female shoppers and they have adjusted the story lines accordingly.

Trivia fans - we already know the production is highly Canadianized, Canadian sets, Canadian actors with Canadian accents, etc. What you maybe did not know is that the "Donovan" haunted house is based on the most famous ghost story from ... you guessed it .... Canada.
