Winning Selection in NCTV's first annual Foothills Films festival
10 October 2014 | by modicusSee all my reviews

This motion picture short was shot and directed by Mark Hoffman on a Canon Vixia HF M32 camera, without the aid of additional crew. It was edited by Gerald Martin Davenport. Mostly inexperienced actors nevertheless gave very good performances, especially the lead actress, Kristi Garcia, who was excellent. The message was effectively conveyed, and brought tears to many in the audience. Despite being a virtually no-budget production, the quality of the overall picture is quite good, but addition of appropriate, original music could have improved it. Audience members widely regarded the movie as one of the top 3 at the festival.
