Disconnected vignettes showing aphorisms; monologues; friends chatting; unsimulated sex; builders; vistas. This all adds up to a coherent whole in the hands of the filmmaker who also had a starring role.

Powerless to stop the development of their childhood area becoming a zone of high rises a group of friends protest by having sex there with each other and the building site workers. Scenes are interspersed by storytelling and interviews.

There's no discrimination here - the friends do it with oldies as well as the unattractive and also the hunky. And they are clearly enjoying doing it in front of the camera whoever it's with.

Here's a film where artiness works! I've watched the film twice - once when it came out and again just recently. A definite recommend.
