In 1969, recent high school graduates and best friends Derek and Charlie embark on a 1,300 mile bike trip around Lake Superior to escape the pressure of their future, but the two cousins that left the Keweenaw as boys must overcome the wilderness and uncertainty on their journey as men.

During their road trip, Derek and Charlie discuss visiting Sleeping Giant Park. At the time the movie takes place the Sleeping Giant was the name of a rock formation, but the surrounding park was named Sibley Provincial Park until renamed in 1988, nearly 20 years after the movie is set. See more
