Looks like many missed the point of this movie
27 August 2016 | by j-a-julianSee all my reviews

This actually is a much better film than many seem to think. It appears that reviewers have missed the main point of the plot. I don't want this to be a spoiler so I won't go into depth except to say watch the entire movie, to include the last two minutes after the closing credits. The significance of the plot and the message did not become absolutely clear to me until near the end, although in hindsight I can now see the hints that preceded.

The acting was uneven. Pierce Brosnan was very good, particularly in the closing scenes. Danny Masterson had a key role and did not carry it off very well, particularly as the film progressed. Of the females Ashley Greene was the best but Alexis Knapp and Bar Paly certainly gave acceptable performances. Oddly the director seemed to be obviously shying away from nudity to such an extent that it seemed artificial. Strange since it is an obvious R film.

Bottom line ... watch it to the end and you'll get it.
