There is a seagull that stays on the rock with her for most of the movie and it has a wound that she later fixes by snapping the bird's shoulder back in place.
A dead whale with a large hole in its side is floating in the water.
The initial shark attack is quick and the most we see is a lot of blood in the water.
The protagonist attempts to climb on top of a wounded whale to escape the shark. Her hands puncture existing bite marks of the whale and blood spills out.
Later, we see the protagonist try and stitch up (albeit poorly) the wound. We realize the wound is deeper than first thought and a lot of blood pours out while she's trying to "stitch" up the wound. This scene is about two minutes long and ends because she can't endure any more pain.
A man is severed in half (offscreen). Later, we see his upper body on the beach, still alive, before he succumbs to his wounds. His lower body is also visible, but out of focus.
A great white shark breaches the water, lifting a surfer off his surfboard and clamping down before dragging him underwater. No blood, very brief. Meant to shock the audience. Later, we see the surfer's dead body washed up on the beach. Again, no blood and very brief.

Little shown, although a man is drunk on the beach. He drops his empty bottle of Tequila in the sand, and is so intoxicated that he is nonresponsive to Nancy's calls for help from the water.

Anyone with a fear of sharks or the ocean, particularly being stranded at sea might have issues with this film and find it uncomfortable.
