At the 20th floor of a skyscraper, a gas leak has started a fire. Anne and Ben Bronson, two teenage kids, are trapped in a fiery inferno 20 storeys above the ground, while the fire is spreading throughout the entire building. From the 60th floor, their parents, Brianna and Tom, who were about to sign their divorce papers, will have to fight together to save their family from the flames. Even if Brianna is a brilliant structural engineer, will she find out a way to stop this uncontrolled fire ?
While Ben and Anne were trapped in the elevator. Why didn't they both stay put on the elevator and have Paul bring down all the elevators sooner. They could've got out of the building faster and more safely. See more »
I have been a fan of the disaster movie genre ever since I saw 'The Towering Inferno' in the cinema back in the day. And since then every disaster movie seems to follow the same formula. A couple, children, a builder etc. Having said that I thought the strain between the couple was well set up. I can accept the not so stellar special effects I can even take dodgy acting but please change the formula re children.
