Beautiful and affecting
4 October 2018 | by Phil_ChesterSee all my reviews

An hypnotically beautiful retelling of the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale. Slow and meditative certainly, but also deeply affecting. This story always made me cry as a child and this version moves me just as completely. In this era of "Time's Up" and "Me Too", this feels even more relevant. Highly recommended.
