Trivia

Ra's al Ghul tells Oliver he hasn't been challenged to trial by combat in 67 years, though he looks to be in his fifties. Ra's uses the Lazarus Pits to reset his age, heal from wounds, and even come back after death. He once even told Bruce Wayne/Batman that he was over 600 years old. See more »

Quotes

[Oliver watches a recording of Thea killing Sara]
Malcolm Merlyn: I don't think you want the league to see that. And if you kill me, they will.
Oliver Queen: This isn't her.
Malcolm Merlyn: You ever heard of a plant called Votura? It grows in South America. In facts, it thrives in Corto Maltese, making the subject extremely susceptible to suggestion, or retaining no memory of their actions.
Oliver Queen: I will tell Ra's this was you, that Thea was under your control.
Malcolm Merlyn: And he will still kill her. She fired the arrows.

One of the most solid episodes of the entire series
10 December 2014 | by hanruizSee all my reviews

There have been some great episodes that The CW has put out over the past two years for Arrow.

This episode, however, breaks all bounds that the show has set before for a "good episode." Every single plot point, conversation and character from this episode plays such a crucial role to the plot's development and the show's overall progress forward for characterization and connectivity between character stories.

Every single scene is so important to watch and experience and if this episode is watched more than one time, one will slowly realize that if a normal viewer were to miss a single scene, they would be missing a great deal of the plot even if it were just for 5 minutes.

This episode not only tugs on your emotions but keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire time.

Truly spectacular.
