Incorrectly Regarded as Goof - Opening the visor of an EV suit while out in space, even for a second, would be fatal. All the air in the suit would be vented in less then a second, this is known as explosive decompression. The sudden pressure drop would cause all the capillaries on your face to burst, and your skin and eyes would flash freeze. - There are recorded instances of a person being exposed to high vacuum without serious injury, a person would not instantly freeze on exposure, as the vacuum of space is a poor conductor of heat. Opening a visor for a few seconds would not cause instant death. See more »

Greetings from Lithuania.

6th episode "Rock Bottom" of "The Expanse" moved story forward and did it in involving and intriguing way. I liked this episode much, this is a very good episode in the series. Performances were pretty good, but the standout performances in this show overall so far are by the most known names (no wonder) - Thomas Jane and Jared Harris - interactions between these two always entertaining in this show.

Overall, "Rock Bottom" is a very involving entry into "The Expanse" series. The mood, setting, deep sci-fi story - those are the highlights of this episode and the whole show so far which isn't very great or amazing, but it is pretty damn good one so far.
