Sex & Nudity

  • Towards the end of the game, the main character is naked but it's not too graphic.

Violence & Gore

  • There many gory of dying in Inside such as Getting eaten by wolves with blood, Getting cut by a fanblade, Getting the player's brain explode in a shockwave.
  • Unlike the creator's own Limbo, which featured monochromatic minimalist graphics, this one features colored and detailed, if somewhat abstract, 3d graphics, which makes the violence much more graphic and intense.
  • There are a lot of corpses in certain areas, some animal and some human like, and all in varying stages of decay.

Profanity

  • No actual voices are in this game but many characters have gestures that may involve a lot of swearing. Some is not shown and it happens only after a few minutes of waiting but some is clearly shown.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • While no consumption is used, if you confuse this game for using a lot of drugs in it, you wouldn't be wrong.
  • Death scenes revolving around being captured revolve around people usin g tissues that can make you pass out with some weird substance.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The game is very atmospheric and has extremely dark themes similar to 1984 by George Orwell.
  • Like Limbo, the game has a very unsettling atmosphere and plenty of very intense moments, especially when the boy is chased and has to avoid making mistakes lest he be killed. It also has a very dark atmosphere that relies on confusing the player and plenty of unanswered questions.

Violence & Gore

  • At one point, the player, as a large mass of writhing and groaning body parts, has to kill a random man hunkered against glass, crushing him to death and resulting in a lot of blood splattering the ground and the player.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In the secret ending of the game, the boy is revealed to be a robot and not a real human being and the boy is shown being controlled by a inhumane person, if you detach the plug, the boy dies. This means that the boy is min d controlled and even drugged.
  • In the game, the main character can use this thing called a body control machine that makes you control inhumane test subjects. This thing is used quite a lot in the game and it is shown to be a control test for something dark. This could be very well thought and also really IS a drug.
  • In one point of the game, a monster is putting a cord in your belly cord that makes you able to have infinite breath inside the water. This is shown as a superpower that is put into you, through the same drug the project uses.
