The Fallen exposes the impact our decisions have on others we know, love and have never met. The Fallen reveals a little girl's struggle over her Dad's deployment to war. Overwhelmed, Bonnie runs to her favorite place; a swing in her olive tree, where she spent happy moments with her Dad. Her father, Ben, finds her with only moments to spare and reconciles their relationship which ends in a heart-felt salute from Bonnie to her Father and the tying of a yellow ribbon around her tree. Later, four tree trimmers arrive arguing over orders to cut down a tree. As Bonnie is approaching, she experiences the falling of her tree as the realization sets in they cut down the wrong tree. In tears, Bonnie salutes her tree.
