Storyline

A thief steals two paintings from the Pickman gallery at the behest of a mysterious man in yellow-tinted spectacles. Before he can flee the scene he is confronted by a security guard and in the resulting shoot-out he is wounded before killing the guard. The wounded man travels to the woods where he is due to meet with his contact. He stumbles upon a seemingly abandoned old house deep in the woods and needing to recover from his wounds he enters the house and falls asleep. He is awoken by the occupant of the house returning, a Vietnam War Veteran with his leg in a metal brace. The Ex-soldier helps the thief with his wound and then, seeing the thief's interest in the strange old book on the table, begins to tell him how he got it during the war.
