Trivia

Technical issues caused a retake of the last scene showing Officer Craig's legs from the knees down as the pregnant woman's water breaks, splashing onto his shoes. This ending gag was important to the film. Producers were dismayed to learn the actor, location, and wardrobe were no longer available. The producer's husband volunteered to be a stand-in wearing similar pants and shoes while standing on a remnant of vinyl flooring painted to resemble the floor in the initial footage. Nobody - including the original actor - realized the difference until it was revealed at the premier as trivia. See more »
