Two things to consider before watching this show: 1. If you don't like slice-of-life reality shows, you won't like this one. 2. You might like this show if you like LeAnn and Eddie as people.
The show follows them in the day to day conduct of their lives. It seems their lives have been fodder for the tabloids, primarily because LeAnn and Eddie met while Eddie was married to another woman. LeAnn is a singer and Eddie is an actor, so they are a celebrity couple who are in the public eye anyway. But the tabloids have fired an enraged public morality that loves headlines like "LeAnn is a Homewrecker!" So this show is a glimpse into the life of a couple who is always on display.
The show is also a reminder of LeAnn's great voice. I consider myself a fan, having bought a couple of her CDs during her early career. Now she is a woman and I had lost track of her, especially since I don't read tabloids.
The intro of the show uses tabloid headlines, letting you know up-front that they will not shy away from the "battle". And it is a battle in the sense that celebrities must decide what to do about the lies printed by tabloids. This show is a solid salvo, showing that they are real people who deal with issues we all face.
They also deal with issues peculiar to celebs: PR issues. Like what to do if you tweet a photo that accidentally shows your butt (episode 4). You can't write this stuff. Well, yes you can (see Elaine's Christmas cards on "Seinfeld"), but they come across as genuine.
They make a cute couple. They are happy together and loving. They are able to make fun of themselves. They seem honest with each other. As they deal with the demands of their careers, surrounded with the necessary personal assistants, publicists, and family, they cope with common social media issues, display their knowledge of pop culture (e.g. twerking and tweeting) and cope with living--as a couple.
Sometimes they talk to the cameras. Mostly, the cameras capture their daily activities. There is plenty of humor. Leah Remini's reality show, in comparison, focuses on her family. In this show, LeAnn and Eddie are the focus. I like them, so I find the show enjoyable.
