Trivia

When Abed says 'cool' six times, one for each season, Chang farts during the fourth cool, which is a reference to the fourth season of the show having the lowest ratings, due to creator Dan Harmon being fired. See more »

This might be the greatest episode of TV ever.
2 June 2015 | by dabkowskijSee all my reviews

This episode is an emotional one. We see Shirley again, and "that's nice." Seth Green appears, which is pretty funny. But, in the end, this episode is great not because of the humor, but because of the emotion. Abed's speech about TV is heartbreaking. I've heard complaints about Troy not appearing, but I'm glad that he did not.(No offense Donald). The fact that the episode has no cameos(minus Shirley, however that one works as this is the first season without her, and she appears in a cameo in the first episode) is what makes it work. The wow factor would take away from the meta humor of Community. In short, watch with tissues, and if you haven't seen all of Community, don't watch it yet.
