Trivia

The sensor that Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) looks at when detecting the extra-dimensional creature during the opening of the movie is a modified 1977 Mattel handheld "Electronic Football" video game. Selling over one million units, this was one of the hottest items of Christmas 1977. The beep at the beginning is the "touchdown" sound, whilst the other beeps are the sound of the ball moving down the field. See more »

Goofs

(at around 10 mins) When Quill tells the High Priestess he doesn't like "anything casual," he starts to clasp his hands together. In the next shot, they are at his sides. See more »

User Reviews

An Expansion to Vol. 1 🎊

Vol. 1 had the Advantage of Originality but Vol. 2 has the Advantage of Expanding on those Characters and Adding an Even more Amazing Spectacle on top of it.

Things I Liked:

° The Opening was Great, it sets the mood right away.

° It was Visually Spectacular

° Yondu's Escape was Brilliant

° Some Funny Humour

° The Reveal was set up nicely

° It had some touching parts in this Movie

° Rockets' Escape from the Forest was Great

° The Different Songs in the Different scenes were Great additions

° The Fireworks Scene was Beautiful.

Overall, Vol. 2 would not have worked without Vol. 1.
