First Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel to use a number rather than a subtitle since Iron Man 3 (2013). All other sequels since the third Iron Man have used a subtitle. Examples include: Thor: The Dark World (2013), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). The only other sequel to have used a number and not a subtitle is Iron Man 2 (2010). See more »

User Reviews

An Expansion to Vol. 1 🎊

Vol. 1 had the Advantage of Originality but Vol. 2 has the Advantage of Expanding on those Characters and Adding an Even more Amazing Spectacle on top of it.

Things I Liked:

° The Opening was Great, it sets the mood right away.

° It was Visually Spectacular

° Yondu's Escape was Brilliant

° Some Funny Humour

° The Reveal was set up nicely

° It had some touching parts in this Movie

° Rockets' Escape from the Forest was Great

° The Different Songs in the Different scenes were Great additions

° The Fireworks Scene was Beautiful.

Overall, Vol. 2 would not have worked without Vol. 1.
