After eating their omelettes, we couldn't help but make a short film about their business. We had heard great things about the Masala Omelette with cheese, but nothing quite prepared me for the spicy, sticky taste sensation induced by their trademark produce. After 36 years and a dozen million eggs, the father had gained enlightenment when it came to frying omelettes, and now was passing his midus touch down a generation. I was touched by their unyielding energy and eagerness to succeed.

A teenager had cottoned onto their success and opened a similar omelette shop on the opposite side of the clock tower, but despite his omelettes being just as moreish, without the recommendation from the Lonely Planet, his business couldn't compete. I was left questioning the power that Guide Books have to make or break small businesses.

A lighthearted portrait of the infamous family run Lonely Planet Omelette Shop in Jodhpur, encapsulating the energetic free market spirit of India.
