Stitchers follows Kirsten, who has been recruited into a government agency to be "stitched" into the memories of people recently deceased to investigate murders and mysteries that otherwise would have gone unsolved. Cameron, a brilliant neuro-scientist, assists Kirsten in the secret program headed by Maggie, a skilled covert operator. The program also includes Linus, a bio-electrical engineer and communications technician. Camille, Kirsten's roommate and a computer science grad student, is also recruited to assist Kirsten as a "stitcher". Written by Soumik Ghosh

Did You Know?

On September 15th, 2017, the show was officially canceled by Freeform after three seasons, presumably due to low ratings though Freeform gave no official reason. A large fan campaign was launched on Twitter not long after with the full support of the cast and crew to bring back the show. A petition was made and fans tweeted emails of higher-ups at Freeform as well as Freeform's Feedback page on their website. Fans also contacted other networks, specifically SYFY and TheCW, to get them to pick the show up for a fourth season. Whether this campaign is successful or not has yet to be determined. See more »

Something new and entertaining
25 June 2015 | by debvee60See all my reviews

I just finished watching the third episode of Stitchers. I read the bad reviews above and don't agree. This show is interesting. Each episode so far has promised something more to be revealed about the plot. The premise, that a group of young scientists working for a secret organization that can probe the minds of the recently deceased, is an interesting one. If only the dead could talk.... I've enjoyed all the episodes so far - fast-paced goal centered, not a lot of drama (too much drama irritates me), some humor and characters that are slowly being revealed and getting to know each other. I like that there is not a lot of "meaningful conversation", but just the banter that normally passes between coworkers. No it's not philosophically deep or scientifically accurate - but it's entertaining.
