Deep Turbo Blue Sea (2014)

Goofs

Deep Turbo Blue Sea

Max Steel

Edit

Factual errors

N-Tek announces that both Metal Elementor and Miles Dredd are attacking their underwater base. That's specific but incorrect, as Dredd is away busily searching for the first fragment of the TURBO Star.
Screen credit errors and inconsistencies: Though the character names Kirby, Butch and Blast Link appear in the credits, Kirby and Blast Link are silent appearances not voiced by their assigned actors. Butch doesn't appear at all, either visually or vocally. (The characters Kat, Sydney, Chomp and Prism put in silent appearances as well but, rightfully, do not receive screen credit.) The character of Mr. Thornhill (voiced by Michael Dobson) both appears and speaks but receives no on-screen credit.

Revealing mistakes

The TURBO Jet takes off with the force of a rocket blast-off, yet Jefferson and Berto, standing directly behind it, are only knocked on their butts rather than get incinerated or slammed into the back wall of the hanger.
After Steel Tells max about the TURBO star's energy signature, as they swim by the underwater base, the turbo jet is in jet mode instead of aquatic mode. After this shot it returns to aquatic mode for the remainder of the episode.

Miscellaneous

Once again, Max' bedroom shows discarded clothes of the floor - clothes that his forever-worn, camouflaging Steel Suit makes superfluous. In addition, his skateboard and free weight don't seem to have moved since the last time they were shown (fourteen episodes ago).
As Max prepares to hit the ocean and enter into the TURBO Jet's untested Aqua Mode, he comments that he picked the right day to skip his morning shower (as he may soon find himself soaked). This could initially be taken as just another jest from Max except that Steel confirms it by saying it's never a good idea for Max to skip ANY of his morning showers. Max is forever locked in his protective Steel Suit. He can never step out of it for any common, mundane activity such as showering. If he does, he'll either explode from unregulated TURBO energy build-up or be detected by his super-villain enemies.

Errors in geography

As indicated on his map, Jason Naught discovers an underwater N-Tek base south-east of Madagascar. Metal Elementor discovers missile research at an underwater N-Tek base in the South Pacific Ocean. It turns out to be the same base, but Madagascar is in the Indian Ocean, not the South Pacific.

Plot holes

Steel still can't recall his past yet knows that no other advanced civilizations bother with tests.
Max ends up cornered in an undersea tube-corridor between Metal Elementor on one side and UltraLinks Chomp, Prism and Blast on the other. At 16:40, Metal Elementor flings a giant, spinning, circular saw blade at Max, which he dodges. In missing Max, the blade should've then hit Chomp, Prism or Blast standing on the other side of Max, but it inexplicably disappears off camera in an instant.
Seconds after the start of the mat test, Max - responding to an emergency call - finishes it, turns it in, and leaves far ahead of everyone else. Mr. Thornhill doesn't believe Max is smart enough to have finished so early, yet nothing comes of it. Max neither winds up in detention nor comes up before the Vice Principal under an accusation of suspected cheating (which the sour Mr. Thornhill - not a fan of Max - would be likely to do).
