The sermon being given at the Amish funeral is from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. It is also the inspiration for the lyrics to The Bird's "Turn Turn Turn".
    • Goofs
When Brock is on the shooting range, there is a close-up of the paper target after he finishes firing. The holes are blown out from the back, towards him, rather than from the front.

    Maybe best episode of television
More cinematic than TV, so beautifully shot. Surreal and crushing at same time.

So much about life, choices, regret, and hopes for a better world. It is that place we go in grief and regret when the pain is unbearable. Just got some friends into watching the show, and eagerly waiting to share this gem with them. It is one of those unforgettable episodes that not only touches, but changes you. In a way it is spoiling and in others the most perfect and defining of the 38. Banshee will always be one of the top shows I have seen and while full of moments, this is the pinnacle episode.
