While hunting, Yakari discovers that animals plan to leave the tribal lands in droves, frightened of a terrible hunter who appears in two places simultaneously. The tribal elders explain that fits the legend of 'two brothers', normally hostile predators who team up. indeed, it's a lynx and a coyote, who grew up together as orphans.
