Goofs

When Walter drives a Ferrari 458, firstly on both spider and coupe series the roof does not come off, however Paige is able to remove it while the car is moving (if it was removable, why wasn't it taken off before), secondly there is no Ferrari 458 with a manual gearbox, even though Walter changes gear by pressing the clutch, and all 458 have a digital rev counter, the one that shows is analog. FIRST Episode THE BEST by far......
5 December 2014 | by Dr_SaganSee all my reviews

OK. I wrote a stellar review after seeing the pilot episode. Most of the viewers (at least in this board) were furious (mark the word) and hated the show.

Just saw it again and it is by far the best Actually, in my opinion all the episodes after that are mediocre to say the least.

So, I searched "who was behind the pilot" and it was Justin Lin. The Taiwanese-born American film director whose films have grossed $2 billion worldwide and he's best known for the Fast and the Furious franchise. (I told you to mark the word!)

Anyway. The pilot of Scorpion (despite some obvious "liberties" with the script) it is by far the best and one of my favorites TV-episodes for 2014.

Although I'm not a fan of the F&F movies. I'm now d/l "Better Luck Tomorrow" a 2002 of Lin to see his directorial skills once more.
