Did You Know?

The opening scene is filmed at the Holocaust Memorial (das Holocaust-Mahnmal) in Berlin. The quote on the wall says:

"Ist der Holocaust ein Irrweg oder eine Spiegelung unseres selbst?" ("Is the Holocaust an aberration, or a reflection of ourselves?") See more »

When Kala remembers her birth, the obviously older baby used for the scene already has her umbilical cord cut, tied, and healed. None of the other Sensate babies share this error. See more »

Steiner: [Holds up the diamonds] Look at this. Would any of you suck cock for this?
Steiner's Bodyguard: Sure.
Steiner: That's why you and cock-sucking Felix and Wolfie are all fucking idiots, and I'm the only one with some fucking brains here!

What a spectacular final scene. Never seen anything like it before.
13 June 2015 | by SamLTTMSee all my reviews

This show gets better and better with every episode. I can't believe the extraordinary leaps the Wachowskis are taking with this show. They display life in a whole different way than I've ever seen, quite literally in this episode. The final scene brought me to tears.

Granted yes it's very graphic. But life is graphic. The Wachowskis are making one of the most honest and powerful shows I've ever seen and I applaud them for doing that. I hear they have 5 season of the show mapped out and I can't wait to see what else they have to show me.

If you've only seen the first episode and you though it sucked I agree. It's one of those shows that takes a while to get it's feet off the ground. But trust me it gets so much better. It tackles real life issues and really makes you wonder about the things that are possible in this world.
