Continuity

At 12 minutes and 23 seconds into the film, Solo snatches a hat from the head of a child standing with his mum and sibling... just 5 seconds later, the camera passes the exact same trio from the exact same angle and the kid has his hat on.

Factual errors

When spaceship Millennium Falcon was sucked close to the Maw in maelstrom, it couldn't fly out of its gravity well even with its engine burning full power. However, nothing and nobody in the spaceship was affected by that strong gravity pull at all in the movie. That is against basic physical laws. Anything and anyone that is not strapped or fixed to the spaceship should be dragged to the direction of Maw. Moving around in such environment is basically impossible.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

In the original 1977 Star Wars movie, 'parsecs', a unit of distance, were mistakenly used as a unit of time ("I can make the Kessel Run in under 20 parsecs"). This movie retcons that into Han being able to find a shortcut through the winding maze of the 'Kessel Run', therefore making the original statement correct.

The various card players all hold their hands very loose, which would allow people behind them to see their cards (and possibly communicate this information to the other players). Experienced card players glance briefly at their cards and leave them on the table.

While an Earthling Poker Player may consider this a goof, the rules of Sabacc may require the players to hold their cards off the table, or with the advanced technology of the series they may consider it worthless to keep the cards down since technology would allow the cards to be seen from any angle, as well as through the table.

Plot holes

Why is unrefined coaxium able to be stored without problem on Kessel but not on the Millennium Falcon? If it can't be stored stably for very long in either location, then there must be a refining facility on Kessel where the coaxium is refined and stabilized soon after it is mined. Or there must be a refining facility closer to Kessel than where the Millennium Falcon takes it. Either way, it would seem to be easier to attack and steal from that refining facility than from the mine itself.

Spoilers

The goof items below may give away important plot points.

Character error

Beckett sells his plan to steal coaxium from the rival Pyke Syndicate on the premise that he and his crew can't be connected to the Crimson Dawn. However, Vos then sends his rather recognizable "most trusted lieutenant" Qi'ra with them on the mission.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Because Darth Maul is seen to be alive in this film, some believe it takes place before the events of The Phantom Menace, when he was cut in half and apparently killed. However, it was revealed in The Clone Wars animated TV series - considered canon - that Maul not only survived but received artificial legs, which can be seen in this film. Therefore, Solo takes place somewhere between the events of Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith and Rogue One.
