Storyline

The CIA asks the FBI to accept Jane's jail-escaped 'ex' Erica Flynn"s condition to help retrieve from her Slowak lover Jan Nemic, a Russian mob-trained slick arms and other contraband dealer for terrorists, a fortune in counterfeiter-priceless passport chips, in exchange for a pardon. So Patrick accepts to meet them in Nemic's Beirut home, volunteering as stunt memory courier for an unknown crime deal. Lisbon, his backup under an alias, is jealous of Erica even before being turned in by her to win Nemic's confidence. Cho poses as Jane to entrap the US party of the deal, but that goes utterly wrong. As Patrick expected, Erica planned to cheat on everyone, even him. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

The empty house that Cho raids has a sign outside for a real estate agent called Eric Blair; that was George Orwell's (1984) real name. See more »

Goofs

When Erica says thank you so much "shukran jazelan" to the room service guy, Lisbon asks if she speaks Lebanese. While closely related to the Arabic spoken in other parts of the Middle East, Lebanese Arabic has a different structure and normally referred to as Lebanese rather than Arabic. See more »

Quotes

Kimball Cho: You did good work today, but Abbott says he never approved you leaving the office. You said he did. Did you lie to me?
Michelle Vega: Sir, I...
Kimball Cho: Answer the question.
Michelle Vega: Yes. I'm sorry. I know that... I just got excited, I guess, and I thought that I'd be a lot more help...
Kimball Cho: That's not your call. Now, I can't work with someone I can't trust.
Michelle Vega: You can trust me.
Kimball Cho: No, I can't. You're not going out in the field with me again.
Michelle Vega: For how long?
Kimball Cho: We'll see.

Wrong

This episode was a huge disappointment, do your research people! Beirut was portrayed in a totally biased, inaccurate manner. They showed nothing of the real Lebanese culture but rather the typical stereotype spread worldwide about the middle east, not to mention the poor choice of clothing, the "thobe" worn in gulf countries is not in any way a part of the Lebanese clothing. They showed nothing but bad neighborhoods, spreading a sickening false impression about the Lebanese culture. There was nothing Lebanese about the episode, even the accents were gulf or Iraqi accents, they could've easily chosen one of these countries for the plot to take place.
