After taking Amy to the hospital to get her stomach pumped, Robert pays a visit to the men that put her there. After he asks for their cell phones and any other video recording equipment, we see one of the men go to the door and lock it. When Robert leaves about a minute after, he doesn't have to unlock the door; he just pulls down the handle to open it. Rotary locks such as this work independently from the door handle. See more »
This is a film that spends most of its time in a haze. A bunch of unrelated set pieces loosely being woven together by such a small string. There aren't really any stakes for Denzel's character. I love this director, but I don't understand how he read this script and signed on. The only thing great in this movie is Denzel's performance.
