Storyline

Stephen Merchant offered a cameo role to Nicole Kidman after he discovered that she had been to one of his stand-up show; "I reached out to her and she was into the idea, which was incredible. She jets in for a couple of hours and was exactly as I hoped she would be - completely happy to plunge in, improvise, let me say absurd things to her, and so game to play along. I couldn't be happier with what she did, or the experience" said Merchant of her involvement.

Goofs

When Stuart is 'repairing' Jessica's computer it can be seen in the background with some 'Booting Options' listed on the screen (shown a few seconds earlier) and option 4 'Restore Settings to previously know configuration' highlighted.

They then have a short conversation during which time Stuart does not touch the computer again (although it does briefly flash in the background). When he turns back to it, Jessica's 'recovered' document is now on the screen.

No computer recovery procedure would go without any further intervention from a bootup screen straight into a recovered document like this.

Brilliant

Normally a film version of a series is a kiss of death but not here. This is hilarious its like Steve Merchant saved the best till last I can watch it over and over again
