Storyline

'Soul of Blue Eye' is a period film set in 1970. Focusing on the British musical artist Dusty Springfield, the story follows her decision to record her most famous album 'Dusty in Memphis' which introduced her soul music to the world.This music was later referred to as 'Blue-Eyed Soul' . Atlantic records convinced Dusty to record the album and the song 'Son of a Preacher Man' became one of the most recognizable hits of the 1960's.
