Storyline

Based on the first book of the Bible, Genesis is a sweeping and poetic look at the beginning of man's relationship with God. While Jochebed (Venus Monique) hides in a shelter to protect her son from being murdered, she tells him the story of her people over the course of a dangerous night. This film explores the idea that mankind will one day return to the place where we started, but that the journey will be filled with hardship, beauty, and a desperate need to trust the Creator.

I loved it.
23 July 2020 | by letylaresSee all my reviews

It exposes what the Book of Genesis already revealed. It is a search for God even though we fail Him everyday. The movie is just a visual effect for it. Nothing Hollywoodly fake. I liked you used kind of normal wear maybe to the epoch,. Not the cavemen rags most movies present. And as someone mentioned it was very poetic. Good for you! I would like to suggest if you can add subtitles. There are a few words I missed as English is not my first language. God bless you all and Ill meet you back in Paradise one day. πŸ’žπŸπŸŒ΄
