In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X, somewhere on the Mexican border. However, Logan's attempts to hide from the world, and his legacy, are upended when a young mutant arrives, pursued by dark forces.

At the beginning of the film we see a man get out of a taxi with a briefcase with "MONARCH" emblazoned on it. No government agent or military personnel would ever carry a briefcase with the name of a secret file/operation on it for anyone to see. Especially going through a civilian protest line. See more »

Kong: Skull Island is the perfect monster movie. It's an epic display of what a popcorn movie should be. Great visuals, soundtrack, and a pleasant plot that is not bogged down by the melodrama that killed the Godzilla flick from 2014. It's a giant monster movie. Have fun.
