Did You Know?

Ruprecht was shot because Los Angeles does not enforce their own laws and regulations ordinance 112.04 (c) LAMC. In other words, illegal leaf blowers are ruining everybody's life with noise up to 90 decibel and toxic pollution. Most LA residents don't even know that gas powered leaf blowers are illegal in LA. If you send an email to the Major's office, no response. You contact your Counsel Man in your district, no response. Four leaf blowers were hurt during the shooting of the film, one seriously. One is still missing in action. Ruprecht is now playing at film festivals worldwide and the audience is realizing there is no method to this madness. Yours, Dr. med. Ruprecht Rummel . See more »

Great short!
30 June 2015 | by thewomencomeandgoSee all my reviews

I'd never heard of this film and a friend took me to a screening and we had a great night. Super funny short and so true to LA life. Gerold Wunstel captures neurotic craziness beautifully. I think I've seen him in commercials before but never in a film. Yangzom Braun's direction is flawless. She's really talented with a great career ahead of her. The comic timing is spot on. The supporting cast is very good too. This should be a series starring Ruprecht and all the trouble he gets into. Kind of a German extreme Larry David type with all the neuroses and trouble he gets into only way worse. I hope that's in the works. I would watch for sure.
