Excellent documentary
29 June 2014 | by sfdphdSee all my reviews

I saw this film at the SF Gay Film Festival 2014.

Since I live in California, I had never heard of the New Jersey 4 who are profiled in this excellent documentary. The film gave me all the background that I needed to understand the context and the setting for the travesty of justice in the case of the four women involved.

It was eye-opening to learn the details of the events and how the media jumped to conclusion in labeling these women "a gang of killers" when it was later shown to be a situation of self-defense and sexual harassment. The prosecutor and the judge seemed to be biased in the case and did not take critical evidence into consideration.

This is an important film to be seen by all people who care about justice under the law.
