Storyline

The small town of Mustard Glade is rocked to the core when Annabelle Plum, the favorite to win this year's pageant title, disappears during dress rehearsal. The only clue? A Subway sandwich left at the scene. With re-election just around the corner, the mayor turns to Peter J. Milford, legendary agent at the Culinary Science Investigation (CSI). A sandwich expert and lifelong Subway devotee, Peter uses the crime scene sandwich to build a profile of their kidnapper. But the more Peter delves, the more he realizes that many in sunny Mustard Glade hide dark secrets--and darker ambitions.
