Trivia

LGBT website Queerty had to run a correction after it called Best Adapted Screenplay winner Graham Moore a "queen", and his acceptance speech "the gayest and greatest moment" at the Oscars after Moore told reporters backstage that he does not identify as homosexual, and his speech was not in reference to sexual preference. Quotes

Julianne Moore - Winner: Best Actress in a Leading Role: Thank you so much. I read an article that said that winning an Oscar could lead to living five years longer. If that's true, I'd really like to thank the Academy because my husband is younger than me. There's no such thing as best actress, as is evidenced by the performances of my fellow nominees. I've been honored to be among you every step of the way. I am grateful for this and grateful for the opportunity to stand up here and thank people that I love. Really Nice..
18 August 2018 | by BatmanFunReviewsSee all my reviews

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences celebrates the year's achievements in film. Definitely better than the 2017 and 2018 ceremony for sure 'The Oscars 2015' was packed with some pretty good and terrific moments such as Birdman's huge win or Juliane Moore's terrific perfomance in Still Alice getting the award she deserved and of course Boyhood? Such a terrific movie to be said. Definitely not a night without it's down but it had alot of ups that somehow kinda saved it from the bad moments to be made and seen for sure i guess. (7.0/10)
