Trivia

Timothy Olyphant and Garrett Dillahunt, whom share a scene in this episode, share history with one another as both appeared in the popular tv series Deadwood. Goofs

In the bank robbery scene, where the getaway trucks' rear tires are shown burning rubber, the very next cut scene shows the driver floor the gas, then they show the tire spinning, and completely out of sequence, they show the driver pulling the column gear select all the way down, which would be a forward gear, and then they show the truck driving in reverse because the front bumper is the last we see of the truck before the following cut scene. The ballad of Dewey Crowe
7 July 2017 | by See all my reviews

As 'Fate's Right Hand' opens, Boyd's fixin' to rob a bank, while Raylan strong-arms a dirty Federale down south. Both characters at their respective essences: one's returning to bank jobs, the other's a thug with a tin star. But regardless, it's a premiere with undeniable swagger, confidently shrugging off the meandering prior season as it sets to laying out the show's endgame. and while Dewey Crowe provides generous comic relief, the rest is pretty heavyweight; a real sinister vibe.

It's an episode almost as off-putting as it is entertaining, considering the deeply troubled state in which Boyd finds himself.
